Berserk Management is an integral service company of architecture, engineering, urbanism and construction. Its aim is to create a website where both professional and independent clients can appreciate the scope of Berserk in an attractive and clear way.

Organising the site tree for two types of costumers with different needs

The navigation tree provided by Berserk Management was divided by activity areas. This was confusing for users, as the services offered vary between private and professional clients.

We decided to create two menus: one for private customers and another for business customers. Creating submenus with the areas of activity available for each one.

Ideation

Playing with ideas and visual metaphors...

Creative techniques implemented: Brainstorming, Affinity Mapping, Concept Board, Crazy 8’s.
We focused on working with the idea of movement and the invitation to reflect on a human eye.
We made a trip into the inner world of dreams, creating emotional connections.

Inspiration

In this trip, we will see the user’s dream construction, which will become clearer and clearer until it becomes a reality thanks to Berserk Management.

Constructivism and geometric forms have been a key element in visual aesthetics.
We took the El Lisitski’s and Rodchencko’s work as inspiration.

Constructivism reflected in the shapes and interactions with the Berserk Management logo.

Brand Identity & Storytelling

The stakeholders were always repeating the fact that Berserk is a 360º company, so we thought it would be a great asset to play around with this concept, creating the intro sentence: Welcome to the 360º era.

Wireframes and first prototypes

The stakeholders wanted to play with a human eye, claiming that it is attractive and eye-catching. After several unsuccessful trials including the eye directly, we decided to start playing with visual metaphors.

1. Wireframe

Skeleton of the website where we mainly organized the content of the different pages.

2. Prototype01

In this first prototype, we played with the projection of dreams and leak points. Berserk Management is an architecture company that want to be considered by their potential customers as the place to where invest and make their dreams come true.

3. Prototype02

We changed the background colour and we applied the shapes of the images following the influence of constructivism. We also continued testing different ideas for the first screen related to the visual metaphors of the eye.

4. Prototype03

At the end, for the first screen we decided to focus in testing different methods to show the visual metaphors extracted from the creative process. Especially on the ideas of movement, blinking, and travelling inside the inner world of dreams.
